4.5 Partner Program

If you sign up through a partner's link or invite code, you are anonymous to that partner. They see only what each of your payments was for (for example a Pro renewal or trading fees) and the commission it earned them, never who you are: not your name, email, username, wallet, payment details or trades. When anyone opens a partner's link, we count the click for that partner's statistics. To count each person once a day we keep a one-way code made from the IP address and browser for one day, never the address itself.

To pay commissions on trading fees, we record which HyperLiquid wallet belongs to your account. The Eclipse trade panel proves this on its own when you connect a wallet for live trading, without asking you to sign anything. The record is deleted with your account.

If you join the Partner Program, we keep your payout wallet address, the tax form you upload (an IRS Form W-9, W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E, which includes your legal name, address and taxpayer identification number, such as a Social Security number), and a record of your commissions and payouts. Tax forms are stored privately, are seen only by the Eclipse staff who check them, and are used only for tax reporting. Tax forms and commission and payout records are financial records and are kept after an account is deleted, without the account attached, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

If you add bank details to be paid commissions on plan payments, you enter them in a form hosted by Stripe, our payment processor. Your name, address and bank account go to Stripe and are held by Stripe under its own privacy policy; we give Stripe your email address and the country you chose so it can set this up. Eclipse does not receive or store your bank account number. We keep only the bank's name, the last four digits of the account, and Stripe's references for you and for each payment.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for up to 3 years after account deletion for legal and business purposes
• Transaction Records: Retained for 7 years as required for tax and accounting purposes
• Log Data: Retained for up to 12 months for security and analytics purposes
• Marketing Preferences: Retained until you opt out or withdraw consent

When your data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Access Controls: Strict access controls and authentication requirements

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

• Referral Cookie: When you follow a partner's link or enter an invite code, we store the code in a first-party cookie (eclipse_ref) for up to 60 days, so your invite discount and the partner's credit apply if you sign up. It is removed once your account is credited to a partner or cannot be.

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. However, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Services.

7.3 Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. We currently do not respond to DNT signals, but we honor other privacy preferences you set through our Services.

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete that information.
